"Feeding Carroll Together," is a county-wide food drive that unites the food pantries of Carroll County, Maryland in the fight against hunger.
This collaborative effort aims to alleviate food insecurity and provide support to those in need throughout the summer months.

Summer presents a formidable challenge for families and seniors in our county, as food insecurity becomes particularly prevalent. Many turn to their local food pantries for support, and our pantries struggle to keep their shelves stocked. Feeding Carroll Together" is a county-wide food drive dedicated to bridging this gap by urging residents to donate food items to neighborhood food pantries throughout the summer months.
Why Summer Matters:
More than 27% of Carroll County Public School students rely on free and reduced-price meals during the school year. Without the support of school meal programs, summer brings increased financial strain to these households, and many turn to their local food pantries for assistance. Seniors on fixed incomes who rely on food pantries year-round also feel the pinch when pantries struggle to keep their shelves stocked in the summertime. This makes summer a particularly challenging time for food security in Carroll County.
